Owl Design have had the pleasure of designing on of the room sets for this years Dream Houzz, 'The Millennial Flatshare'.
Our brief was to design an apartment for a couple of flat sharers in their 30's. The space created is the perfect spot to unwind for the owners with a busy work schedule. We imagined them to be two friends in their thirties who need a space to relax and entertain. One is a chef and the other is employed by a tech company, so they both work long hours.
We combined a colour scheme of burnt oranges, soft greens and pale pinks with textures such as wicker and velvet to create a room where the owners can chill out + socialise with friends. Sustainability is also on the flatmates’ wish-list, so we chose long-lasting furniture made using traditional craft techniques.
The pop up is open Friday 21st September from 12pm + then Saturday and every day until the 30th it’s open 10am - 9pm, in Bermondsey, 47-49 Tanner Street, so get yourself down there to see ours, + the other inspirational room sets!
