This time last week I was brightening up a rather grey day by pottering around the beautiful Mayfield Lavender Farm. The organic farm has been running for ten years years and is based in Surrey. It's a lovely day out, and a nice smelling one at that! After walking around the fields there is a shop where you can buy all things lavender from a bunch of flowers to lavender cake and jam.

This field was a bee haven! They are so busy enjoying the flowers it was lovely to see.

A random white lavender bush broke up the sea of purple.

The the red phone box it the middle of the field stood out and was a great place for a photo opportunity.
