HOME | SETTING THE TABLE

It's that time of year again when we are thinking about entertaining + getting together with our nearest + dearest. What better way to welcome guests than with a bountiful spread of cheese, fresh sour dough bread + wine. My favourite kind of food is sharing food as it's easy to prepare, creates a relaxed atmosphere + pleases everyone. The fact that you can prepare in advance means that you don't miss out on any of the fun!

It's always nice to get out your nice serve-ware to set your table and LSA are a great go to company for beautifully crafted glassware + ceramics. For over 50 years they have created contemporary collections for bar, table + decoration with brand new products launching each season. The materials they use are carefully selected to ensure a high quality finish, + complex artisan techniques are translated into distinctive products.

For LSA Style it Your Way Challenge I fell in love with the TATRA Dome + Ash Base Inspired by the folk traditions of woodworking. The assorted patterns are carved into this handmade glass dome and corresponding square wooden base, made with ash from FSC® certified sources. The angular shape + graphic motif make this a centrepiece serveware design for cheese, cake or tarts.

The perfect accompaniment, figs and antipasti...

The cheese dome's large size means you can fit plenty of cheese in + it's the perfect way to stop any smellier cheeses wafting around!

Keep the setting simple with linen tablecloth and napkins + rustic ceramics. I always like to add height to my tables with either tall candlesticks or a vase of foliage or flowers....or both. The food you are serving can also make a nice display too, the more food the merrier!
