Last week I visited Glasgow for the first time whilst up there for a job. After travelling so far it was lovely to take a couple of days off to explore the city. On my second day I explored the West End side of Glasgow and popped into the Hungarian Museum, Art Gallery and of course the Mackintosh replica house. It's been a while since I've had time to mooch about in Art galleries so it was lovely to see what some of Glasgow's finest artists had to offer. I've been inspired to start painting again myself!

Mackintosh House
The original house belonging to Charles Rennie Mackintosh had unfortunately been knocked down due to it being deemed an unsafe structure, but before the demolition they saved much of the furniture and re-created his home just off of the Hungarian Art Gallery. I love how contemporary it felt, it was like stepping into the pages of architectural digest!
