This year I started off by setting out my 2017 goals, this blog being one of them. Another was to start sourcing and re-upholstering vintage and retro chairs which are in need of a little love. I have have now a little collection of chairs all ready and waiting to be covered and you can see them here. Whilst on my chair journey I have gone off on a little tangent and decided to start up an online shop as part of my blog, selling some interior accessories and bespoke cushions (still in the pipeline!). Below are some of the lovely accessories I am currently selling along with my first upholstered retro chairs.
These retro tub chairs were originally covered in a drab pink velvet so I thought I'd jazz them up with the striking patterned fabric. Keeping it black and white means that they could blend in with many different styles but still be a feature in the room. For more info on them head to my Etsy shop.
I love a scented candle and always have one on the go, so it only seemed right that I should stock some. I love every different scent that Plum & Ashby has to offer. I like to switch up the scents in different rooms at different times of the year to suit my mood and there are plenty of scents to choose from in my shop.
Spiced Orange & Red Berry - This candle is perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere.
Ancestral Rose - This is a lovely delicate fresh floral scent, the nicest Rose scent I've smelt.
Fireside Embers - This candle smells exactly as you would imagine and is perfect for enhancing your cosy night in.
Seaweed and Samphire - This fresh scented candle takes you back to the seaside and would be perfect in the bathroom.
Bergamot - This is one of my top scents!
Eucalyptus - This is a refreshing and uplifting scent perfect for spring days
Honey and Amber - This is my other favourite scent!
These Ivory Linen cushions are a home staple and look great on the bed or mixed on with other patterned and coloured cushions on you sofa.
This Dark Blue Mohair throw is super cosy and looks just as good folded on the end of a bed as it does thrown over an armchair or sofa.
This Mohair blanket looks and feels so good I have it in a neutral colour too!
